For a Major Insurance company in California, we designed, architected and developed a Hadoop based solution for Analytics, ETL off-loading, Mainframe Hadoop integration, resulting in savings of $5M+. Our expertise included infrastructure sizing, cluster design starting with 12 nodes and expanding to 50 nodes, installation, Security integration, development services and Data sciences consulting services. Many of Hadoop Ecosystem tools along with Spark were used in this project and involved integration with Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and Mainframe as well as external sources like Whitepages, Spokeo and other data providers.
